Computer science is one of the fastest growing and largest academic departments at Virginia Tech. With locations in Blacksburg and across Northern Virginia, our faculty innovate in the classroom and in the laboratory to meet global challenges with vision and passion.

Our new faculty joining this academic year include full-time instructors, as well as collegiate and tenure track associate and assistant professors. They hail from abroad and from Blacksburg. Some are Virginia Tech alums and others are setting foot on our campus for the first time.
